Welcome to Kenyon-Roberts Upholstery, a traditional upholtsery workshop located in Tarland, Aberdeenshire.  Established in 2010 by Michelle Kenyon-Roberts, a AMUSF trained upholsterer and the first upholsterer in Scotland to be admitted as a certified member of the Guild of Traditional Upholsterers

We specialise in re-upholstering domestic furniture using both traditional and modern techniques, from simply recovering a set of tired dining chairs with new fabric to completely stripping back a cherished family piece and re-building it from the frame up.  Please see our gallery for examples of previous work. For more recent examples of work done you can also visit  our Facebook page where you will also find details of upcoming upholstery classes.

If you have a favourite old chair which no longer works with your décor, don’t throw it out; let us transform it into a stylish, bespoke piece.  Please contact us to discuss your options and get a competitive quote.
